BURST

Terms of Use

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Early-stage product. By using BURST you agree to these terms. They are written for an early access / POC. They are not legal advice; have counsel review if your company requires it.

1. The service

BURST lets registered sponsors create "Bursts"—short requests for structured input—and add recipients by email. Recipients submit responses; sponsors view summaries and raw text. Features, uptime, and data handling may change without notice during early access.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not share accounts in a way that bypasses these terms.

3. Your content and recipients

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant BURST a license to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the service (including sending emails to addresses you provide and generating optional AI summaries). You may delete a Burst you created at any time from the product; we will remove that Burst and associated stored responses from our active database as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to contact each person you add as a recipient and that your use complies with applicable law (including workplace, marketing, and privacy rules). Do not use BURST to spam, harass, or collect data under false pretenses.

4. AI-generated output

Executive summaries and similar output are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not professional, legal, financial, or HR advice. You remain responsible for decisions you make.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate law or third-party rights.
  • Upload malware, probe systems, or overload the service.
  • Misrepresent identity or affiliation.
  • Collect or scrape data from the service beyond normal use.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BURST AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US).

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, security risk, or operational necessity. You may stop using the service at any time.

9. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where allowed by law.
